Launch of DTIGN and NYB.AI
In 2024, NYB took a major step forward by merging artificial intelligence with herbal drug discovery. Working with Professor Adams Kong from NTU’s College of Computing and Data Science, the team developed DTIGN — a proprietary AI model that predicts drug–target interactions with exceptional accuracy. This breakthrough accelerates early-stage drug discovery by helping scientists identify promising compounds faster and with greater precision.
To advance this innovation, NYB launched NYB.AI, a dedicated AI-powered drug discovery company committed to both national excellence and global impact. Guided by this vision, NYB.AI aims to build the world’s largest natural molecule library, starting with over 50,000 organisms, harnessing nature’s molecular diversity for human health. The goal: to empower pharmaceutical and wellness companies worldwide to accelerate compound discovery, uncover novel therapeutics, and drive the future of preventive and personalized healthcare.
NYB.AI was selected for the Ignition AI Accelerator Program by NVIDIA, Tribe, and Digital Industry Singapore, earning recognition as one of the region’s leading biotech innovators.

Expanding into Nutraceuticals
Alongside its advancements in artificial intelligence, NYB began developing nutraceutical products based on its patented herbal formulations — turning years of research into safe, regulated health solutions. The company achieved several key advancements, including approval from Malaysia’s National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA), comprehensive quality testing to ensure products were free from heavy metals, pesticides, and fungicides, and the scaling up of sustainable cultivation practices to guarantee both consistency and environmental responsibility. Through stringent manufacturing protocols that uphold the highest standards of purity and safety, NYB ensured that every product reflects its enduring vision — rooted in nature, guided by science, and made with care.
